Special investigator Jack Martin (Folley) takes his crack team to Southern China to look into a series of missing persons cases.  With the help of archeologist and linguistics expert Lena Dexter (Carradine), he uncovers connections to the disappearances that lead to missing artifacts and reports of mass memory loss.  Along the way, the enigmatic “Mr. Smith” ( Ems ) turns up to assist, sometimes helpful but never revealing everything he knows. Clues lead them to a derelict building with odd inconsistencies in its history, inhabited by creatures that defy imagination.
